My littlest nephew has autism and developmental disabilities. He's my hero if I'm being completely honest. I watch him everyday overcome his dislikes and fears to progress that little bit more and continue to develop into an amazingly beautiful individual.
He's been trying his best lately not to bite his nails when he gets nervous so I sat and spoke to him about a chew toy. He said I'm no baby, I explained I'd found a super cool one that looked like 'lego' he became interested, so I bought it and another Lego set so we could sit and build together while he discovered his new toy. He loved it, which is almost impossible with other things. Normally he has to get use to a things presence before entertaining the idea it's something he wishes to touch/interact with. Not this time straight in it went so he could chew it. He now uses it all the time. It's always around his neck. I like that it has a safety mechanism on it so if it gets hooked on an object the cord will break so no injury will occur.
Highly recommended to anyone who might require a bit of comfort in times of stress or for babies too. It's strong and appears unaffected by chewing. It's certainly strong and sturdy.
I'm hoping to get some more. I want plenty in just incase he looses one.
Have a super day
