Had others before that loved -- these didn't last

Maybe I got a defect, but these worked great for a week (took me a little time to get put up). The were fun to change colors, although we typically left them as white (although they looked a little blue from the front, probably because they picked up wall color or something). then the sticky mount tape came loose from the last section (they are 4 sections of lights -- each about 18 inhces long -- and connector cords between). Don't know if they got bumped (don't think so), but ever since the last section will only match color in green mode. In white (as we like them), they are yellow. The others don't match (I think when red, they are green. In blue, they are red ... I don't remember... the point is it is one section that doesn't match). Unfortunately, I delayed in reaching out to Amazon and it says the return period is closed. Will post feedback and see if company responds (they have for some others).
