I love silicone molds! They can be used for some many things and very rarely ever have issues with stuff sticking to them. I wanted this set of two 4 cavity molds to mainly make resin paperweights but they can be used to make soaps, bath bombs, jello shapes, cakes and more. They are safe for the oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher. Each mold has an oval, square, round and heart shape.
The molds are soft and very flexible so it helps to put them on a cookie sheet to keep from spilling out. I decided to use them to make a sensory play activity for my daughter. I put a small dinosaur toy in each cavity, filled with water and then froze the mold. I let her use warm salt water to rescue the dinosaurs from the ice. It worked well and the ice popped right out of the molds. Next, I plan to use them to melt broken crayons for rainbow shapes the kids can color with.
