This made the most perfect birthday gift for my boyfriend. He is constantly going through soldering irons and they don't last very long if they aren't built to last. It's very important in this line of work to have a durable soldering iron. He is always complaining to me about how they don't get hot enough, or that they have no switches to turn it off and on and you can't adjust the temperature, or that he can't sit it down and that he has no place to set it when it's hot, or that he needs one with higher watts because it's just not going to be good enough to solder what he has to This kit has everything that is wrong with all the others in it!!
