This thing is awesome. Metal housing screams good quality.

So far, I haven't had any issues with this cable. I don't think it is quite four feet long, but it's not an issue. I love the fact that it is housed in all metal. It's not rigid but also not loose. The metal housing screams quality. Even the end connection housing is metal. Gold plated connections are a major plus. The price point is great for such good quality, given that cheaper made plastic housing cables are more expensive than this product. I haven't used this cable for very long, so I can't speak to how long it lasts, but given that it can't bend as deep as plastic housed cables, I don't think it is likely to break any time soon.
I would definitely recommend this product.
