My daughter has been wanting to learn how to play guitar and I had bought her one from the store but it was so cheap  This one is perfect!! Its made of mahogany wood and the strings need tuning but I'll tune them once shess been using it a while. The sound is very beautiful. I'd even say it's the kind of quality ukulele you'd find at guitar center. Its perfect for her size (shes 10) and she loves strumming it. I used to play string instruments so I know how to tune and play a few chords and will teach her but she loves it and I wanna be clear that this is not a toy!!
