Surprised how bright this is! Don't get me wrong it's not going to be as bright as a full powered AC light. I got it because our outdoor light broke, it was a short term replacement until we could get that refitted and installed.

That's no longer the plan and this unit has replaced it full time. Like I said it's not going to be as bright as an AC powered light, but this guy will ensure that you can see clearly in your immediate surroundings. Looking back to about 25 feet is where you'll notice it start to dim down. However if you were out there and dropped your keys in the dark, you'd still be able to see them.
