Pretty shades, but not what I expected

I am not sure what to think of this makeup palette. I think there are some pretty colors in it, but they are not colors I like to wear on my eyes. I thought the collection would be more neutral colors and browns, but they came in more pinks and roses. But even with that, there are a few colors that I really like and that I have used a few times. I like the ones with the sparkle and shimmer to them, so the glimmery colors are the ones I prefer over the matte. But the matte colors pair nicely with the lighter shimmer colors. All of the colors combined make it easy to blend and create shadow and highlights, all of them nicely complimenting the others. If you like pinks, this is a must. Showing the colors on my hand in pictures doesn't give you a full understanding of how they look. They are so much prettier in person. But you will definitely want your own brushes to apply with. The one included is quite cheap, as is the packaging for the compact. The brush is an actual brush, which is great for getting in to the crease of your eye or creating added shadow around the lashline or corners of your eye. But for actual overall lid application it doesn't work well and you'll need sponge like makeup brushes to do that.
