This really works well. I use this along with ear plugs and it really helps me to get a good nights sleep as I have to be up at 1am five nights a week.
If I had to pick fault I would say that it is quite warm so in this weather we have been having you might get a sweat on. The other problem I have is that the buttons are very close together so on a couple of occasions I have turned it off instead of lowering the volume.
However if you need help sleeping in a light or noisy environment this might just be the ticket
