This is a very nicely made unit. It combines music player, photo viewing, video playback, voice recorder, text reader, FM radio and, to top it off, it supports bluetooth speakers and headphones, so it is not necessary to use wired earpieces, although it includes a pair of earbuds as well as a USB cable for charging and copying music and other files to and from the unit. It supports a host of audio file types. It has 8GB of built-in memory, capable of storing 2000 songs (dependent on file type and compression). In addition, it will support a TF-Card (Micro-SDcard) up to 128GB, so storage is not a problem. The unit can also be used as a portable flashdrive-type unit should you wish.
It has a 40-hour battery life between charges, and the unit will fully charge in about 3 hours.
This will make a great present for one of my grandsons.
