Fun kit to do

This is one of my latest diamond painting kits I worked on. I have found these to be a great way to relax and pass time. I thoroughly enjoy doing these. I actually found I prefer doing these over doing counted cross stitch or paint by number. Some of the colors may seem endless and tedious, but the end results are always impressive. I had more than enough of each color to finish this entirely and always end up throwing away a lot of extra diamonds after I am finished since there are so many included in each package. If you are new to diamond painting it can take time to figure out how to do them. It took us awhile to figure out what the little square of pink coloring was. You peel the clear plastic off of one side, then use the wand to get some of the sticky in the end. This allows you to easily pick up and place your diamonds on the corresponding place on the canvas. Be sure you understand which color goes with which set of diamonds, though. It is easy to mix them up if you don't match them up correctly. Just be sure to go by the number on the bag they come in rather than matching by color of the canvas to the beads. I have additional little boxes I have bought to store my diamonds in which I write the number, letter, or symbol on top of with a white board marker so that I can easily erase it when I am done with the canvas. You can buy those from Amazon for low cost and they make a big difference since you never get enough little baggies to put all of your remaining beads in when you are working. I tried a variety of methods before settling on buying those - taping the original baggie shut, putting them in small containers on my table, trying to do all of one color before moving on to the next... This is a great kit that has great results. I do leave my canvas out on my desk until I am done, leaving the protective plastic over the top of it to keep things from sticking to the canvas. I have had many a times my mail, paper, or other items got stuck to my canvas, and I can't tell you what a pain it is to have to pick all of the diamond pieces out of the carpet if the baby or dog or cat spills them.
