Stylish but yet traditional great addition to my kitchen

The clock arrived very quickly to my door. It was actually delivered the day after the order was placed. It was securely padded with polystyrene and placed in a square cardboard box which gave the product a beautiful presentation. 

I ordered the 12 inch version of the item which is approximately 30 x 30cm . My first impression was how true to life the pictures on the listing are. Sometimes you can be very disappointed when the images seem a lot brighter on the website and expectations are not met . This was not the case in this instance . The clock has a very rustic and traditional  feel to it with brightly defined colour. The rooster design stands out from a distance and it has taken pride of place in my kitchen .It is very well manufactured and I was pleasantly surprised by how weighty the item is . I was half expecting it to be lightweight and less durable.  It is made from a strong wood with a glossy feel sheen to the top layer. It is very stylish and unusual to what you would find in the high street. It would make a great gift 

It was easy to hang and has a very smooth movement to the hands . Once in operation it is virtually silent . It is very homely and creates a great traditional farmhouse kitchen feeling
