After my son was looking to buy a go pro i found him this alternative after being recommended it by a friend and my son loved it ... and best of all it was a lot less money to buy . The only thing you will need to buy if you don't already have one is a memory card but these are cheap enough to get.
My son is using it for his adventure week and although he hasnt used it yet he has had a trail run with it and he was very impressed and his friends have all said the same positive things about it. Highly recommended.
