Easy to apply. Plastic is thick enough it is very easy to work with. I would suggest adhering ONCE. Once you remove and reposition, you are losing the adherence ability of any product. Lay the pieces down where you think you want them so you don't have to move them later. Peel back 2-3 inches and fold the paper back. Lay the plastic down and slowly pull the rest of the paper from under the plastic.We have an upholstered storage bench my two kittens completely ignored for 9 months, but now at a year old, one seems to have found the front side of this bench a good place to sharpen claws. Having two scratch boxes next to it has never made a difference. These plastic squares covered the horizontal front of the upholstered storage bench perfectly. I just ordered another (2 pieces) for the sides "just in case." Highly recommend.
