This is a very good idea: a magnetic keeper for your emergency firearm. It is well-made and strong enough to hold any of my handguns firmly and out of the way. We use it in our entry closet, above the doorway, where it is not visible yet readily available should need arise. It is coated with rubber material, so you don't scratch the finish of your gun. It mounts where you need it (doorway, under furniture, use your imagination) using screws. Very useful.
