This is a Vintage style rucksack/backpack, which is made from a soft, durable and tough feeling brown coloured canvas and dark brown leather. The backpack has a useful 18L capacity. It’s very well made and I like the design of this product.

The rucksack is lightweight, about 960 g and it measures approximately 32 cm wide, by roughly 43 cm tall, and approximately 13 cm deep. There are two external plastic zipped pockets on the front, with good quality and well sized metal tags, and a hidden, open style, pocket. The backpack has two external pockets on the sides, both about 17 cm deep and roughly 12.5 cm wide. These pockets are big enough to hold two water bottles.

Lift up the cover and the main compartment of the rucksack has a drawstring closure covered by a flap with two stud shut buckles. The buckles are attached to brown coloured leather belt straps, which are 2.5 cm wide and have one round stud each in a silver coloured metal.

The interior has a main frontal section, which is the full height and width of the rucksack, and is impressively spacious. The back of the compartment has a separate soft cushioned pocket, which is the full width of the rucksack, has a brown coloured lining, and closes with a Velcro fastener, where you can keep an iPad, or an Apple Macbook Air, etc., or any important documents.

The Velcro fastening looks strong and durable to me. It’s squared shaped, measuring approximately 3.8 cm by 3.8 cm, and attached to a strong, 11.5 cm long, woven braided band.

It also has an internal zipped pocket, which has a plastic zip and a dark brown metal zipper closure. This pocket is easily big enough for a smartphone like my iPhone 5, or iPhone 6, some keys, a wallet or a small notebook, etc.       

The rucksack has two easily adjustable shoulder straps and a hook, so that it can be dangled from a coat hanger. All metal parts of the rucksack, including the zip tags, buckles, studs and shoulder strap loops, have an attractive gun grey finish, which makes the appearance of the rucksack very eye-catching.

The canvas material feels thick and rugged, and there was no loose stitching anywhere on the rucksack which I received. The zips work reliably. In my view, this is a very good-looking unisex canvas style rucksack, which looks great just about anywhere, including the school, office, hiking, for weekends away and day trips out.
