The new member from TT (BH046) is a strong contender in ANC overear headphones market, in my opinion it can punch out of its price bracket and compete comfortablely with the Bose QC25 I have also owned, in terms of ANC and sound.
The headphones comes with a carrying case, audio and usb cables and flight adapter.
The followings are the things I like about the headphones:
Design - The headphones feels solid in hands, easily comparable with any £200 headphones, the pads and headband are well cushioned, so no problem there. The headphone cup mechanisms feel a little bit stiff at first, but this ensures long term durability.
I wish the carrying case could be a little smaller, but due to the design of the headphones mechanisms, that is the compromise I am ok to make.
Battery life - The battery is actually good. I can get music playtime of 26~27 hours for my usage. This will vary slightly with how loud you normally play your music. The recharge time is pretty quick as well.
Bluetooth - This is also very solid. I walk around my flat wearing the headphones with my phone placed at least two or three walls away from me. There is no single time of signal dropping, pretty good there. Pairing process is fairly standard, works no problem with my android phones.
ANC - This is the part I think these headphones have had bif improvments compared to other headphones. Other brands of wirleless headphones have decent ANC functions, but you can still hear a lot of noises, such as cars and people talking. The ANC that is used on these headphones seems to help with cancelling out more car and people noises. I tried 2 diffrent headphones for comparison and on several occasions, I think that these heaphones do a better job on noise cancellation overall. You hear less sounds from outside world. For my preference, I think these heaphones is the better performer for that.
Sound - decent sound quality, which is good for everyday use. This is not a Hifi or audiofile headphones, but for everyday use, I think it is excellent.
There is two things I don't really like about this headphones: the headband adjustment is, let me put it this way, not good for people with big head (large brain of course Lol). Or if you wear the headphones over the hat, you may find it too tight or small for you. It will be different for everyone, but for me I just wish the headband adjustment range could be a little bit wider. The 2nd thing is that the volume on the headphones can be a little louder, I had to turn up the volume quite bit on several occasions.
