Good for self defense

I think these batons are great for defending yourself if necessary. Easily expanders with a simple flick of the wrist and closes with ease as well. A nice rubberized grip for to easily maintain control and prevent dropping accidentally. There is a steel ball in the butt cap for breaking glass or head cracking. There is a steel rod inside the plastic on the end section of baton. So even though it is light weight and plastic the steel rod insert makes it capable of doing it job. A handy wrist strap to aid in keeping it secured. The nylon sheath is very low quality but I don't see that as a reason to not give this tool a 5***** star review. If I were to carry it on my belt I would get a leather sheath for durability anyway. And it is available at a magnificent value.
