First of all I was overjoyed to have the opportunity to test the coffee grinder as I took this as an excuse to go to Whittards to purchase some of the coffee beans I had always been tempted to try but had no means to grind them down .
The grinder itself Is very well designed and would not look out of place in any kitchen. It is so compact and hardly takes up any worktop place which is essential in this day and age when there are so many gadgets to help around the kitchen and not enough space to place them.
It is relatively easy to use with a one button operation. One only needs to basically plug it in - add the beans- and then press a button. The instructions stipulate that it should not be used for more than 60 seconds continuously.. but so far I have found that in most cases 30 seconds ( half of the time) is sufficient.
It is not too noisy whilst in use. I was half expecting it to be a lot louder and offers a great wattage for an appliance of this type. Whilst one would think that it is only useful for grinding coffee it us useful in many other aspects like grinding down spices ..Salt and in my case pumpkin and flax seeds .
In my opinion it is worth every penny to have something so useful to hand and every kitchen user would benefit from it.
