Mode switching is strange

The flashlight is great, heavy but not too much, the compatibility with 18650 and 26650 is a plus !
The only problem is the mode switching, others flashlights switch mode after each press and turn off after 5-6 press.
But this one turns off between every mode switch. When you turn it off you will get a dimmer mode the next time you use it and after using it 3 times you will have the strobe mode and the the sos mode. This is not a good choice.
