Rechargeable Portable LED Light Bulb Powered by a Solar Panel by BFCY

I found the combination between the light bulb and a solar panel interesting and useful to use outside where electricity is difficult to reach.

The only downside is that the solar panel is not waterproof so it cannot be left outside all the time. The LED light bulb has a USB port

so it can be charged either by using the solar panel provided or as a backup, by a 5-8V charger.

It is useful to be able to charge the light bulb in a different way since using a solar panel depends on how many hours of sun one can get. The solar panel is small and lightweight, easy to carry.

It has a long, approx. 3.4 meters, charging USB cable.

At the back, there are indents for a hook to help hang the solar panel either vertically or horizontally to be able to get as much sun as possible.

The light bulb can also be hanged by its metal wire hook.

According to the description, a fully charged bulb works emitting light for 4 hours. I could not test this time since due to the season sun is not coming up every day and if up it will be shining for only 3-4 hours.

Consequently, several sunny days are needed to fully charge the bulb. The light emitted is bright however it will not hurt the eyes.

This bulb is handy and useful to use at home in emergencies or to light inside a shed or a garage, or when hiking, camping, cycling and other outside activities.
