A very nice compact USB3 hub for my MacBook Pro laptop (2016). This hub feels very well made, a combination of aluminium and plastic and includes a handy soft pouch to carry it. Compared to others on the market it offers a good selection of connectivity, including 2 USB 3 ports, a single USB 2 port, a USB-C port, SD and micro SD card readers and HDMI output (video and audio). It connects to the laptop via s short (approx 12cm) lead with a USB-C plug on the end. It has been great so far allowing me to run several devices from my laptop and also output to HDMI. However recently I've noticed a problem when using it sometimes with the WiFi on my laptop. Another reviewer has also mentioned the same thing and I am wondering if its because of the recent upgrade to High Sierra or certain wiring combinations of using it. At the moment I've got my charger plugged into one USB-C port and the hub plugged in the other (my MacBook Pro 13 only has 2 USB-C ports), with my external USB-C hard disk plugged Into the hub together with an SD card in the reader. It seems fine now however with my charger plugged into the hub and the harddrive plugged in my laptop my WiFi would stop working. Otherwise I am very pleased with the hub as it gives me all the connectivity I need for less than a single adaptor from Apple.
