This is a perfect set for my son as a beginner.
The tools have nice smooth handles and the edges are sharp enough to give a clean cut. The chisels are very easy to handle, lightweight and sturdy. The variety of chisels are very useful and allows me to create different details, get deep lines and nice curves.The whetstones are a prefect size matching the size of the kit and they work well.
This is a great set for travel
If you are using a hard wood these are not for you. As the description states, it is for medium wood.
