Love it

I've recently built myself a new PC and wanted to further upgrade my room setup by creating a mini cinema corner.

I was a bit hesitant in buying a projector as it is my first one and I've seen many reviews about how they aren't very clear, aren't compatible with certain devices or the sound isn't that great etc.

After doing some research, I figured this would be the best one for me - one reason being that it is compatible with a wide range of devices.

- It has a HDMI port so I can connect this to my PC/Laptop. The provided cable is far too short to be of any use as you need to keep the projector very close - I'd advise getting a larger one. Wasn't a problem for me as I've got plenty of spare HDMI cables around the place.

- You can also connect this via your mobile device. You can do this by using the screen cast or screen mirror option as you would with a Chromecast etc.
This will show up as "PROJECTOR-XXXXXX" under the available devices that you are able to cast to.

- Other methods include inserting a USB stick or a micro-SD card in.

The quality is one of the big points with this projector. Note: that you do have to adjust the lens and move it to a reasonable distance. For me, I rotated the lens the entire way and then kept moving the projector backwards until the image was clear and sharp - mine ended up being less than the recommended distance but may vary between users.

-For movies, it is absolutely brilliant. Image clarity looks amazing and it was better than I first expected.
-It was a big laggy when I was playing games on my laptop but this was only to gauge how well it would perform there.

The fans do seem a little loud and they're constantly on as soon as you turn the projector on. However, the sound system on this does drown out majority of the sound - I didn't even have to put the volume to the maximum to be able to drown out the fan sound.
When watching movies, the sound was quite clear and didn't distort as the volume increased.

In terms of controls, this can be controlled via the touch buttons on the top of the projector or via the remote control.
When using the touch controls, it does beep with each touch which can be a bit annoying so the remote is a nice way to avoid that.
The remote comes with the battery already pre-installed.

On the bottom of the projector, there is a notch where you can screw in a tripod (not included with this). Useful for those who want to prop it up or hang it from the ceiling.

Overall, I did a ton of research beforehand to try and find one that has good quality, sound and compatibility at a reasonable price and I'm extremely glad that I came across this one. It fits my requirements perfectly and makes for a nice addition to my mini cinema corner.
It won't be for those who expect top notch quality but for <£100, it does exactly as you'd expect it to for the price range.
