Big, bright, and bold!

Let me start right off by saying that my family loves oil diffusers! We have two that run daily and a third we use as a Halloween/Autumn decoration (https://www.blog-booster.com/writepost/B076CH9PHN/).

We purchased this to use in our bedroom at night to add some welcome scent and the fact it doubles as a night light was an extra bonus. Now let me say, this thing is big and bold! The top is very large and the entire thing lights up, casting a glow that can illuminate a medium sized room. This is nice when watching TV in bed but can be distracting when trying to sleep. We found that setting it to blue or purple works best for us, as it works great as a night light but isn't bright enough to interupt our sleep. 

The top also makes the mist come out at an angle, something I have not seen on an appliance of this type before. Normally the mist comes out of the top in the middle, where as this diffuser shoots the mist out of the top edge of the unit. I wasn't too crazy about this at first but then found that I could put it on a stand underneath my wall mounted TV and didn't have to worry about the oil/water mist collecting on it. This became a feature I really appreciated as it allowed me more options of where to place it as compared to the diffusers that shoot straight up.

The mist it produces is on par with other oil diffusers we have and have used before, and the size of it allows it to hold more water that other models (500ml as opposed to the normal 450ml). It is recommended to use 10-15 drops of your favorite scented oil (2-3 drops per 100ml) so it will use up the oil faster, but since there is more liquid in the unit at a time it allows it to run longer than others, so it balances out. You can fill the water with the included cup, however it takes at least 2 cups worth to fill this big boy up, so I just use a larger mug to do it in one shot.

The buttons on the unit, as well as on the  handy remote control (battery included!) allows you to set the time duration for it to mist, in  4 hour incriments from 1-3 hours or continuous until it is empty. You can also choose what color you want it to light up with or even have it cycle through all of them for a fun rainbow effect. The remote gives you a few more options such as alternating the amount of mist produced from a slight stream to wide open, however I don't really have much use for those features. But the fact that I can turn it on and off without having to get out of bed is the best part.

This unit also has a number of welcome safety features, such as not allowing the unit to turn on if the water level is too low so the unit is not damaged, and will sound a small  beeping sound alerting you to this. I have never seen this on any other oil diffuser as well and wish that others would impliment this into their offerings.

Over all, I am very glad I have purchased this product. It is used nightly and has been a welcome addition to our bedroom. The bright light is great for when we need to get up and see our way for a quick bathroom visit and the large water basin holds enough water to allow it to run continuously for two nights before needing to be filled again. It would be great for anybody that wants an oil diffuser but does not want to have to mess with it daily. You won't regret your purchase of this oil diffuser and will make a great addition to your home or to give as a gift!
