nice walkies

We brought these for our 5yr old. He has been given so many pairs of gimmicky walkie talkies with Spider-Man on etc, that just don't work. This last time he was so upset that I did my research and paid a little more, so glad I did. These are fab. They can ring like a phone to call the other person, there is a REALLY bright torch light at the front (great for camping, not always great for your eyes) and they have great range. The only downside, if your using them with young children, is that they have to be set up by a tech savvy adult so that both handsets are operating on the same number / frequency. If your kid likes to fiddle with buttons, it is easy for them to deprogram them - though they are simple enough to reset and there is a lock handset feature. We've had lots of fun with these, the sound is nice and clear and the batteries haven't gone yet.
